Questions about KidsFest

KidsFest is an exciting two-week Council events program for Canterbury children aged 0-17 years. From crafts, science and performing arts to sports and technology, there are many events and activities on offer during the winter school holidays.

This year Kidsfest will run from the 6th  of July to the 21st of July

KidsFest is based in Christchurch, New Zealand and now reaches out to the Waimakariri and Selwyn Districts. Events are hosted in many different venues, both indoors and outdoors throughout Canterbury.

KidsFest is proudly produced by Christchurch City Council. However, most events and activities within the KidsFest program are run independently by a variety of event organizations, businesses and groups within the Christchurch, Selwyn and Waimakariri Districts.
