Questions about KidsFest

This year Kidsfest will run from the 6th to the 21st of July.

KidsFest is based in Christchurch, New Zealand and now reaches out to the Waimakariri and Selwyn Districts. Events are hosted in many different venues, both indoors and outdoors throughout Canterbury.

KidsFest is proudly produced by Christchurch City Council. However, most events and activities within the KidsFest program are run independently by a variety of event organizations, businesses and groups within the Christchurch, Selwyn and Waimakariri Districts.

FAQs

Many of the favourite KidsFest activities held in previous years have once again returned. Plus, there’s also some completely new experiences for children to explore and a range of online events.

Tickets will be available to the public from 5pm on the 24th of June.
Tickets to KidsFest events can be found here, at kidsfest.co.nz Event providers often use different ticketing methods, so please see event listings for the specific booking details.
Most tickets will have a booking fee added, which can increase depending on your method of payment. Online bookings using e-tickets are usually the cheapest. Phone bookings, outlet purchases and couriered tickets can incur extra fees. It is the event provider who decides how their event is ticketed.
